This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the comprehensive design of Seeking’s primary experience across both web platforms and native iOS and Android applications.
• Create designs for onboarding, discovery, matching, messaging, profiles, and subscription interfaces.
• Reassess how information is presented to assist members in making quicker and more informed decisions.
• Design with cognitive load in mind by determining what information to display, conceal, or postpone.
• Transform profile data, verification status, activity, and compatibility indicators into user-friendly interfaces.
• Transition from insights to prototypes to production through wireframes, workflows, interaction specifications, high-fidelity designs, and design quality assurance.
• Establish and advance the design system throughout the platform.
• Conduct or co-facilitate user research alongside the Product Manager.
• Engage in interviews, review session recordings, and analyze support tickets.
• Prototype using tools like Figma, Framer, code, v0, Lovable, or Cursor.
• Organize and execute usability testing sessions.
• Implement metrics to assess design effectiveness.
• Utilize tools such as Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, and similar resources to enhance exploration, ideation, and production.
• Develop and refine agent workflows.
• Contribute to the internal design and product playbook.
• For senior-level candidates, establish visual and interaction standards, influence design decisions across various surfaces, and mentor as well as review fellow designers.
• A portfolio showcasing shipped consumer product work with real users and measurable outcomes.
• Case studies must specify the metrics improved and the extent of that improvement.
• A demonstrated perspective on information design.
• Recent work that has been personally driven from research through to flow, prototype, and design quality assurance.
• Expert-level Figma skills, including component systems, auto-layout, prototyping, tokens, and multi-file library management.
• Proficiency with modern prototyping tools such as Framer, v0, Lovable, Cursor, Replit, or equivalent tools.
• Daily, proficient use of agentic AI tools like Claude, Claude Code, Midjourney, or workflows based on MCP.
• Technical proficiency in code, HTML, CSS, and component-based frontend development.
• Ability to clearly specify responsive and native behavior.
• Hands-on experience with product analytics tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Firebase.
• Familiarity with session recording tools and A/B testing methodologies.
• A systems thinking approach linking user motivation, data events, and retention impacts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• For Product Designer level: 2–4 years of product design experience, preferably in consumer B2C, mobile, or subscription sectors.
• For Product Designer level: at least one feature or flow designed end-to-end that resulted in a measurable customer outcome.
• For Product Designer level: ability to manage a defined surface with mentorship support.
• For Senior Product Designer level: 5+ years of product design experience, including significant time as a Senior, Staff, Founding, or Individual Contributor Design Lead.
• For Senior Product Designer level: multiple products or features successfully shipped, managed end-to-end with measurable results.
• For Senior Product Designer level: capacity to direct craft and provide mentorship to fellow designers.
