Senior Product Designer, Marketing Tools

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Take charge of designing Toast's Marketing Tools tailored for restaurants.

• Create interfaces that facilitate guest engagement, campaign management, and performance analysis.

• Develop foundational tools for agentic marketing products operated by or in collaboration with AI agents.

• Establish the vision for Marketing Tools, going beyond merely fulfilling requirements.

• Collaborate with a Product Manager, engineering leads, and designers across CRM, Websites, Online Ordering, and agentic teams.

• Assist in defining metrics for measuring product success.

• Transform established tools for an agent-assisted future.

• Work alongside the Guest Design team and a globally distributed team of product designers, researchers, design operations leaders, and product managers.

• Travel occasionally for team meetings and planning sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a product design position.

• A portfolio that demonstrates end-to-end ownership of delivered projects.

• Proven experience in redesigning established product lines.

• Strong systems thinking capabilities across various tools, workflows, and entry points.

• Proficient in Figma.

• Comfortable prototyping with AI tools.

• Experience collaborating with PMs and Engineering in a triad setup.

• Ability to conduct independent research.

• Familiarity with using usage, funnel, or experimental data to inform and justify design decisions.

• Background in B2B or SMB products, preferably in marketing, CRM, or growth sectors.

• Eastern Standard Time (EST) preferred.

• Capacity to collaborate across U.S. and Ireland time zones.
