UX Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Finland.

📋 Description

• Transform intricate AI functionalities and user requirements into straightforward, elegant, and accessible user journeys, flows, and interaction designs.

• Develop wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes for AI-enhanced features, including conversational interfaces and data-intensive layouts.

• Plan and execute usability testing sessions for prototypes powered by AI.

• Evaluate user feedback and testing data to pinpoint pain points, usability challenges, and areas of friction or mistrust in human-AI interactions.

• Collaborate with AI Engineers, Product Managers, and Researchers to refine designs and ensure a balance between user needs and technical feasibility.

• Document and share design concepts, user research insights, and design suggestions with internal teams.

• Create seamless user experiences for AI errors, low-confidence responses, and ambiguous situations.

• Foster and sustain user trust in AI-driven recommendations and automated actions.

• Effectively convey AI capabilities and limitations via the interface and manage user expectations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), UX Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Cognitive Science, or a related discipline.

• A robust portfolio showcasing user-centered design thinking, wireframing, and prototyping; please include a link with your application.

• Proficiency in contemporary design and prototyping tools, such as Figma or Sketch.

• Familiarity with user-centered design principles, usability testing techniques, and user research methodologies.

• A strong, demonstrable passion for artificial intelligence, machine learning, and human-AI interactions.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to articulate and justify design decisions.
