Senior Product Designer – Full-Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the comprehensive design process for near.com, covering everything from discovery and product definition to interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and final delivery.

• Simplify intricate financial and cross-chain functionalities into user-friendly, intuitive, and reliable experiences.

• Create user journeys, information architecture, flows, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready interfaces tailored for both web and mobile platforms.

• Influence the way users interact with conversational interfaces and AI-driven financial agents.

• Perform user research, validate assumptions, analyze product behavior, and leverage insights to enhance the overall experience.

• Develop and refine a scalable design system that ensures a consistent experience throughout the product.

• Play a role in product strategy, questioning requirements when a more straightforward or effective solution is available.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Growth teams to identify challenges, explore solutions, and introduce new features to the market.

• Assist users in comprehending the possibilities offered by near.com and their significance through thoughtful UX, product language, and visual communication.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in designing and delivering complex digital products, preferably in the fintech, crypto, or consumer finance sectors.

• A robust portfolio showcasing end-to-end product ownership, outstanding interaction and visual design, along with measurable product impact.

• Demonstrated capability to distill complex systems and technical concepts into intuitive and trustworthy user experiences.

• Strong expertise in Figma, prototyping, and design systems, with a history of collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams.

• High degree of ownership, sound judgment regarding product design, and familiarity with blockchain products, wallets, trading, DeFi, or cross-chain applications.

• Experience in designing financial dashboards, wallets, trading products, portfolio tools, or AI-powered interfaces is a plus.

• Understanding of blockchain concepts such as signing, bridging, swaps, gas, permissions, and transaction states is advantageous.

• Background in user research, product analytics, experimentation, or conversion optimization is beneficial.

• Ability to produce high-fidelity interactive prototypes is a desirable skill.

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, React, or design-to-code workflows is a plus.

• Experience in establishing or scaling a design system within an early-stage product is a valuable asset.
