Senior Product Designer, BNPL Consumer Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Take full responsibility for the BNPL Consumer Experience from the checkout stage through to post-purchase.

• Create checkout processes for online, in-app, and in-store environments to enhance conversion rates.

• Develop repayment and purchase management experiences that clarify intricate billing logic, country-specific regulations, and exceptional cases.

• Collaborate with product managers to redefine challenges and design solutions that enhance business metrics while minimizing drop-offs and support inquiries.

• Conduct experiments on high-traffic checkout processes, assess outcomes, and refine approaches to boost conversion.

• Validate concepts through research, data analysis, and customer insights.

• Design experiences for native apps, mobile web, desktop web, and in-store interactions, accommodating country-specific regulations.

• Utilize AI tools for prototyping, ideation, edge-case mapping, and synthesizing research.

• Partner with engineering teams throughout the delivery process.

• Conduct design reviews with QA and ensure the quality of shipped products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in delivering B2C products across both native mobile and web platforms.

• A portfolio that showcases complete ownership from problem identification and analysis to polished, production-ready UI designs.

• Strong capabilities in product and systems thinking.

• Knowledge of business objectives, conversion strategies, and product logic.

• Exceptional standards in visual and interaction design.

• Familiarity with AI tools for prototyping, exploration, or delivery purposes.

• Proficient storytelling skills for articulating complex issues.

• An independent and proactive work ethic.

• Capacity to prioritize tasks and establish timelines effectively.

• Proficiency in English.

• Experience in fintech, payments, lending, or checkout products, including A/B testing within high-traffic funnels (preferred).

• Background in designing for GCC markets or Arabic/RTL interfaces (preferred).

• Comfort with coding or experience in developing a design system (preferred).

• Experience in a rapidly growing startup or scale-up environment (preferred).
