Senior Product Designer – Federal Modernization

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and improve essential digital products for investigative operations, data analysis, and operational decision-making.

• Develop wireframes, journey maps, workflows, prototypes, and high-fidelity user interface designs.

• Convert business requirements and user needs into impactful interaction and visual design solutions.

• Conduct stakeholder interviews, user research, and usability testing.

• Create experiences that simplify intricate workflows and data-intensive environments.

• Contribute to the development of information architecture, navigation models, and design systems.

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business analysts throughout the product development lifecycle.

• Present design concepts and recommendations to client stakeholders.

• Ensure solutions adhere to accessibility, security, and enterprise design standards.

• Assist agile delivery teams by refining and iterating designs based on feedback and testing outcomes.

• Maintain consistency across products through reusable design patterns and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in UX, UI, or Product Design.

• Previous consulting experience in a client-facing role.

• Prior experience designing solutions for U.S. Federal Government agencies.

• Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in user experience and visual design.

• Proficiency with contemporary design and prototyping tools, including Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.

• Experience in conducting user research, prototyping, usability testing, and interaction design.

• Knowledge of user-centered design methodologies and accessibility best practices.

• Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance.

• Must reside within the United States; candidates living in New York, California, or Colorado are not eligible.
