Senior Product Designer – Cloud Update Service

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Define how users access, organize, and manage content within the Hyland Content Innovation Cloud platform.

• Impact content federation across various repositories.

• Create search and browsing experiences that enable customers to discover and utilize content through AI.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to foster alignment and convert ambiguity into clear guidance.

• Make informed trade-offs that balance user needs with total cost of ownership.

• Work alongside researchers to turn user insights and customer requirements into journey maps, narratives, flows, concepts, and interactive prototypes.

• Develop scalable patterns, workflows, and interaction models across different teams, products, roles, and edge cases.

• Design AI-enhanced experiences that include search, recommendations, and content comprehension.

• Maintain transparency, control, and trust in AI-driven experiences.

• Promote accessibility as a fundamental requirement and ensure compliance with WCAG 2.2 AA standards.

• Collaborate with accessibility experts and engineering teams.

• Deliver annotated design specifications and documentation outlining interaction behaviors and acceptance criteria.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of product design experience delivering intricate enterprise software with consumer-grade usability and refinement.

• Strong portfolio showcasing shipped work and measurable impact.

• Demonstrated expertise in accessibility, including the delivery of products that meet WCAG 2.2 AA success criteria.

• Experience with responsive reflow considerations and collaboration with accessibility specialists.

• Proficient in design systems, including applying and extending component frameworks.

• Advanced skills in Figma.

• Proven track record of creating interactive prototypes and clear specifications.

• Experience working in Agile product delivery teams.

• Strong product judgment with the ability to navigate trade-offs effectively.

• Familiarity with designing AI-enabled products or model-driven experiences.

• Knowledge of transparency, control, safety, bias, and quality considerations.

• Extensive expertise in Material Design 3 and/or Angular Material.

• Significant experience in responsive and adaptive layout design.

• Strong skills in visual design, interaction design, and microcopy writing.

• Research-informed practice, translating qualitative and quantitative insights into product enhancements.

• Strong judgment, prioritization, ownership, and capability to tackle ambiguous challenges.
