Senior Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of design solutions for essential features and product initiatives, from conducting user research and wireframing to delivering pixel-perfect user interfaces.

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data partners to transform requirements into seamless user experiences.

• Utilize and enhance Rain Kit, our design system, to ensure consistency, accessibility, and exceptional visual quality.

• Develop responsive prototypes, including AI-assisted workflows where applicable, to illustrate user flows and interaction specifics.

• Leverage data, user insights, and usability testing to refine and enhance product experiences.

• Uphold a high standard for visual quality, attention to detail, and micro-interactions.

• Oversee core product features and comprehensive user flows that impact hourly and shift-based workers using Rain to manage their financial well-being.

• Successfully delivered complex web and mobile product features from start to finish.

• A portfolio that illustrates specific design choices and the reasoning behind them.

• Strong visual design skills with a focus on mobile-first approaches.

• High level of refinement and meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to clearly communicate design decisions to product managers and engineers.

• Capacity to balance design quality with the pace of shipping.

• Comfortable navigating uncertainty to make definitive product decisions.

• A minimum of 4 years of product design experience, ideally in Fintech, TradFi, or mobile consumer technology.

• Proficient in using and enhancing design systems in Figma.

• Familiarity with contemporary prototyping workflows, including AI-assisted tools.

• Strong portfolio showcasing design work for native mobile applications (iOS/Android).

• Proven experience working effectively within remote or distributed teams.

• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Practical experience in designing a mobile application from concept to launch.

• Experience in a fintech or financial services context.

• Highly skilled in Figma as the primary design tool.

• Experience contributing to or scaling a design system.

• Proficient in designing across mobile, web, and internal tools.

• Experience managing the complete UI/UX process for a product or product area.

• Experience collaborating directly with engineers and product managers to deliver features.

• Experience overseeing or directing motion design projects.

• Familiarity with utilizing AI tools to enhance day-to-day work efficiency.
