Senior Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the comprehensive design of essential seller experiences, such as sign-up, onboarding, and interfaces that connect Paddle products.

• Collaborate across product teams to develop guidelines, principles, and reusable design patterns.

• Influence the development of integration and AI experiences while determining areas where AI can add user value.

• Direct the information architecture, interaction patterns, accessibility, and scalable component design.

• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and stakeholders to identify challenges, shape solutions, influence roadmaps, and deliver results.

• Leverage research, data, and customer insights to validate decisions and enhance the user experience.

• Establish and maintain UI quality and craftsmanship standards across the product organization.

• Utilize storytelling techniques to foster alignment and secure stakeholder buy-in.

• Mentor and assist fellow designers through collaboration, feedback, and constructive critique.

• Oversee and enhance the customer experience throughout Paddle's B2B platform.

• A robust portfolio showcasing outstanding UI craftsmanship and comprehensive product design.

• Proficient problem-solving skills, interaction design expertise, and visual clarity in intricate domains.

• Demonstrated experience in owning, developing, and sustaining design systems.

• Background in designing components, creating documentation, establishing governance, and promoting design-system adoption.

• A keen interest in integrating AI into design processes and products, coupled with the ability to evaluate user value.

• Comfortable working collaboratively across various teams and aligning stakeholder interests.

• Proficient in articulating design decisions clearly and influencing stakeholders at all levels.

• A proactive self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and takes ownership of work from discovery to delivery with minimal supervision.

• Understanding of implementation constraints, responsive design, and accessibility standards.

• Effective collaboration with engineers throughout the delivery process.

• Strong UI design and prototyping capabilities using Figma and Claude Code or similar tools.

• Experience in designing high-scale consumer-facing or B2B products.

• Background in SaaS or fintech, onboarding journeys, or foundational/platform design is advantageous.

• A strong portfolio link is required.
