This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ELT pipelines and data models.
• Convert raw product usage and event telemetry into reliable, well-documented analytics assets.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering to establish the canonical product data layer.
• Define product usage cohorts and behavioral signals utilizing precise, governed source data.
• Assist in defining taxonomy, certifying metrics, and documenting governance.
• Create and manage the semantic layer along with self-service Product Analytics data models.
• Oversee data quality monitoring and anomaly detection for product usage data.
• Construct pipelines and models for expansion and upsell cohorts, usage thresholds, feature adoption, and seat utilization metrics.
• Work together on company-wide analytics standards and tool enablement.
• Communicate technical data concepts and business implications to engineering, non-technical stakeholders, and leadership.
• Advocate for engineering best practices within Product Analytics data assets.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering and analytics.
• Proficiency in advanced SQL.
• Practical experience with dbt.
• Background in building production data pipelines and stakeholder-facing analytics/dashboards.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into governed, well-documented data models.
• Experience collaborating with product/engineering teams on instrumentation and source data design.
• Familiarity with data governance or metrics-certification processes.
• Knowledge of Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proficient in Git-based workflows and CI/CD for data pipelines.
• Regular utilization of AI in coding/development workflows.
