Senior Procurement Optimization Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Oversee the implementation and ongoing enhancement of Procurement business processes, systems, and operational support activities for Nestle Health Science USA Procurement.

• Supervise essential Procurement programs and initiatives executed by Nestlé Business Services on behalf of the market.

• Offer specialized knowledge in Procurement processes, systems, and associated activities.

• Collaborate with Procurement, NBS, IT, and business stakeholders to optimize processes, implement automation, standardize operations, and enhance compliance.

• Lead or assist in cross-functional projects, system upgrades, acquisitions, integrations, and strategic Procurement initiatives.

• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, KPIs, and business insights to aid in performance management and decision-making.

• Foster stakeholder engagement, training, and change management to facilitate the acceptance of new processes, tools, and methodologies.

• Act as a bridge between Procurement, NBS, and cross-functional business partners to pinpoint improvement opportunities.

• Aid in governance and compliance efforts and standardize business processes across Procurement sectors.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related discipline is essential.

• 4-5+ years of professional experience in leading Procurement and/or Supply Chain projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance performance or manage change initiatives.

• Capability to navigate challenges while executing complex, multi-functional prioritized projects.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint) is mandatory.

• Outstanding oral and written communication, organizational, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capacity to perform under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and operate with minimal oversight.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, alongside creative and strategic thinking capabilities.

• Proven ability to lead projects and drive process enhancements.

• Skill in managing ambiguity and guiding change processes through business transformation.

• Ability to influence stakeholders with integrity and promote change across key functions and business units.

• Current or previous experience with SAP and/or Power BI is highly preferred.

• Willingness and capability to travel up to 5% based on team and business requirements.
