Sourcing Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kenya.

📋 Description

• Actively lead sourcing initiatives to discover qualified candidates through diverse talent pools and sourcing methods.

• Utilize the company’s internal candidate database to find and engage appropriate candidates.

• Develop and nurture relationships with potential candidates to keep them engaged throughout the sourcing journey.

• Identify, reach out to, and engage passive candidates.

• Assess resumes and candidate profiles against the requirements of the roles.

• Conduct preliminary virtual screenings to evaluate candidate suitability.

• Keep abreast of industry trends, salary information, talent availability, and talent acquisition strategies.

• Create and sustain talent pipelines and candidate networks.

• Work in collaboration with Recruiters, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders to customize sourcing strategies.

• Monitor and analyze sourcing metrics, identifying areas for continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in Recruitment Sourcing, Talent Acquisition, or a related field.

• Experience in sourcing and recruiting across various sectors and specialized roles, such as Virtual Healthcare Assistants, Developers, Accountants, and similar positions.

• Strong ability to work with ATS and CRM systems, along with LinkedIn Recruiter.

• Proven experience in utilizing internal candidate databases and other existing talent pools to enhance sourcing efforts.

• Competence in navigating Google Workspace and Microsoft applications.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with leaders, candidates, Recruiters, and team members.

• Superior organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple roles and meeting deadlines.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset towards addressing challenges and improving processes.

• High integrity and discretion, with the ability to maintain confidentiality in all situations.

• Knowledge of Talent Analytics and sourcing-related metrics.

• A willingness to be flexible with work schedules and a strong sense of punctuality are highly valued in the ideal candidate.
