Senior Process Improvement Professional – Procurement Digital, AI Enablement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee procurement systems, processes, digital transformation, and AI-driven projects across procurement and supplier management platforms on an enterprise scale.

• Synchronize business strategies with technological capabilities to enhance operational efficiency and facilitate scalable intelligent automation.

• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to develop, implement, and govern innovative solutions.

• Direct comprehensive transformation across procurement systems, including Zip Intake & Orchestration, Icertis Contract Management, Terzo.ai, SpendHQ, and emerging AI-enabled sourcing platforms.

• Establish business and technical strategies with a significant level of autonomy.

• Shape strategic direction and execute complex enterprise modernization and AI integration initiatives.

• Integrate AI functionalities into business processes.

• Ensure adherence to governance, risk management, compliance, and enterprise standards.

• Facilitate a scalable transformation roadmap that aligns with organizational priorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of five (5) years of technical experience.

• Proficiency in digital transformation and modernization of enterprise systems.

• Experience in implementing and managing AI/ML solutions throughout their lifecycle.

• Familiarity with AI governance frameworks, encompassing risk, compliance, auditability, and ethical AI considerations.

• Background in process analysis, workflow optimization, and intelligent automation.

• Expertise in procurement systems such as Icertis, ZipHQ, Globality, Terzo, SpendHQ, and Oracle.

• Experience with system configuration, integration, and documentation processes.

• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies.

• Experience in implementing AI solutions in procurement, sourcing, supplier management, and contracting processes.

• Proven ability to integrate AI into procurement workflows, such as Source-to-Contract (S2C).

• Knowledge of digital transformation within procurement, including automation, digital contracting, and supplier collaboration tools.

• Capability to identify and scale impactful AI use cases within procurement.

• Proficiency in aligning AI initiatives with procurement objectives such as cost savings, compliance, supply continuity, and innovation.

• Understanding of AI risks, governance, and regulatory standards, specifically regarding supplier and third-party risks.

• Familiarity with procurement systems and data, including ERP, e-sourcing tools, and contract repositories.

• Excellent executive-level communication and stakeholder influence skills.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to adapt and lead change in complex environments.

• MBA or an advanced degree is preferred.

• Agile/PMP or a similar project management certification is preferred.

• Experience in leading large-scale digital or AI transformation initiatives is preferred.

• Familiarity with procurement AI platforms is preferred.

• Ability to work Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, with some flexibility.

• Minimum home internet speeds of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload are required.

• A dedicated workspace free from ongoing interruptions is necessary to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.

• Willingness to travel as required, including occasional visits to Humana offices and potentially outside the state of residence.
