Senior Principal, Product Marketing – AI & Emerging Products

📋 Description

• Identify the market and cultivate a comprehensive understanding of customer requirements, buyer segments, market trends, and competitive options.

• Convert customer and market insights into actionable recommendations for Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and leadership teams.

• Determine key segments, use cases, buyer journeys, and adoption strategies.

• Collaborate with Product Management to integrate customer feedback into roadmap discussions.

• Take charge of messaging, positioning, narrative creation, and value propositions for intricate technical products.

• Develop messaging frameworks for branding, demand generation, sales, customer success, executive communications, and customer education.

• Create launch narratives, product stories, and supporting evidence.

• Oversee go-to-market planning and execution for new products, significant launches, and feature updates.

• Establish launch tiers, readiness criteria, success metrics, and post-launch optimization strategies.

• Align stakeholders on launch strategy, enablement, campaigns, and customer adoption efforts.

• Produce sales enablement materials, customer-facing content, campaign inputs, launch assets, and internal communications.

• Lead recommendations for pricing and packaging in collaboration with Product, Finance, Sales, and leadership teams.

• Monitor product performance, adoption rates, pipeline influence, conversion rates, retention, and customer outcomes.

• Leverage data, customer feedback, and market insights to enhance positioning and uncover growth opportunities.

• Manage competitive intelligence and convert market signals into strategic recommendations for product strategy, GTM execution, and sales positioning.

• Establish repeatable frameworks, operational rhythms, and launch practices for product marketing.

• Act as a strategic thought partner across Product and GTM teams.

• Work closely with senior stakeholders from Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Operations, and Analytics.

• Collaborate with fellow product marketers to ensure portfolio coherence and effective execution.

• Utilize AI tools and emerging technologies to optimize workflows, expedite research, enhance messaging, and identify opportunities.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in product marketing, with substantial responsibility for go-to-market strategies for complex products or portfolios.

• Extensive knowledge in positioning, segmentation, personas, buyer journeys, messaging architecture, launch planning, and product lifecycle marketing.

• Outstanding storytelling abilities and skill in simplifying complexity into clear messages.

• Strong background in pricing, packaging, monetization strategies, and commercial recommendations.

• Proven success in positioning products within emerging or evolving categories.

• Demonstrated capability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and foster alignment across Product, Sales, Marketing, and executive teams.

• Significant experience using customer research, market insights, competitive intelligence, and data to guide strategy.

• Familiarity with self-serve/product-led and sales-assisted go-to-market approaches.

• Excellent communication skills at the executive level.

• Ability to establish credibility through influence rather than authority and navigate highly matrixed environments.

• Curiosity and proficiency in AI tools.

• Capability to excel in fast-paced settings while managing multiple priorities.

• Preferred: experience in B2B SaaS, developer tools, WordPress, martech, or AI-enabled products.

• Preferred: experience launching new products or categories into the market.

• Preferred: experience engaging with technical buyers, developers, agencies, marketers, or digital experience teams.

• Preferred: experience developing product marketing practices, frameworks, or operational rhythms.
