This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +9 more states.
• Define and manage the multi-quarter roadmap for foundational services, ensuring a balance between technical debt, scalability, and feature velocity.
• Transition the platform from a reactive ticket-based support system to a proactive, scalable self-service product model.
• Create paved roads, service catalogs, developer portals, self-service tools, and comprehensive documentation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, Security, Product, and Design leaders to develop extensible and compliant platform solutions.
• Enhance APIs, SDKs, and sandbox environments to minimize time-to-first-deploy and reduce developer cognitive load.
• Implement governance frameworks and KPI dashboards that monitor adoption, support deflection, and reliability.
• Utilize developer feedback, interviews, and usage data to translate customer requests into actionable insights.
• Act as the voice and advocate for Twilio’s internal development platform, deployment systems, developer experience, and tooling.
• Lead the strategy, roadmap, and product management teams for Twilio’s commerce platform and developer platform capabilities.
• Over 12 years of product management experience in developing large-scale cloud services platforms, particularly cloud-native commerce systems for usage-based and metered products at significant scale.
• More than 10 years of experience in people management, leading, recruiting, motivating, and retaining high-performing product management teams.
• Demonstrated history of setting ambitious goals, consistently achieving or surpassing them, and being accountable for customer and business results.
• Proven ability to drive transformative company changes while managing both overarching strategy and detailed execution.
• Executive presence with strong communication skills, capable of articulating business value and product features and benefits.
• Ability to influence at the highest organizational levels to drive meaningful change.
• Data-driven and outcomes-focused problem-solving mindset.
• Customer-centric approach with a strong passion for enhancing the customer journey and overall experience.
• Experience in building large-scale, mission-critical software services, such as a commerce system or similar.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent professional experience.
• Willingness to travel approximately 15% of the time.
