Senior Pricing Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +43 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop pricing strategies and perform financial modeling for comprehensive pricing proposals related to PBM client contracts.

• Evaluate pricing for retail networks, mail order, specialty services, and pharmaceutical manufacturer rebates.

• Partner with PBM Sales and Account Services to establish pricing and negotiation approaches.

• Offer insights to meet revenue and profitability goals for new business development and margin preservation.

• Utilize advanced Excel modeling techniques to scrutinize extensive pharmacy claims data.

• Create forward-looking financial forecasts and profit and loss (P&L) statements.

• Deliver financial analyses to Executive Leadership during Executive Underwriting Approval Calls.

• Address financial inquiries in real-time.

• Assist Underwriting Managers and Senior Managers with ad hoc financial analyses and client implementation initiatives.

• Implement and adapt evolving pricing strategies in response to market changes.

• Ensure accurate pricing implementation while minimizing service warranties and performance guarantee payouts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in financial analysis, pricing, or corporate underwriting.

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel for complex data analysis.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.

• Fundamental understanding of PBM finance.

• Experience managing intricate projects lasting 3-12 months in a matrixed environment.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel modeling.

• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and follow-up abilities.

• Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience presenting to diverse business audiences.

• A Master's Degree is considered a preferred qualification.
