Principal Cyber Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist with Business Lifecycle Solutions (BLS) and the Corporate IT portfolio.

• Support a sophisticated Enterprise Resource Management toolset solution.

• Oversee and sustain system operations.

• Deliver Tier-2 and Tier-3 support services.

• Gather data for comprehensive analysis.

• Execute network upgrades.

• Create documentation and diagrams detailing the work conducted.

• Offer system administrative assistance to engineers, developers, and testers while ensuring adherence to system security standards.

• Design, construct, and manage AWS and hybrid-cloud systems collaboratively as part of a team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree; 3 years with a Master's; 1 year with a PhD; or 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree.

• Experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based solutions.

• Familiarity with the architecture, maintenance, and administration of Linux and Windows Operating Systems in large enterprise settings.

• Demonstrated experience in IT Systems Design, Deployment, and Administration.

• Cloud service certification (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google, or similar) is preferred.

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages is preferred.

• Recent experience in Technical or Team Leadership roles is preferred.

• Knowledge of cloud database management systems (e.g., MySQL RDS and PostgreSQL) is preferred.

• Understanding of cybersecurity principles within the cloud context is preferred.

• Comfort in working within an Agile Development environment is preferred.

• U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions involving government clearance and certain other restricted roles.
