Senior Power Systems Analysis Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Evaluate client proposals and scopes of work.

• Serve as the Orbital representative during bid walkdowns.

• Develop manhour estimates and proposals.

• Lead projects focused on electrical power systems analysis.

• Conduct site visits for data collection to aid in analyses.

• Execute load flow, short circuit, arc flash, and protective device coordination studies utilizing SKM/ETAP.

• Generate comprehensive reports outlining findings from analyses.

• Collaborate with project design and engineering teams to apply analysis results.

• Review reports and analyses created by other team members as part of quality control.

• Assist regional business development efforts, including capability discussions with both existing and prospective clients.

• Mentor junior engineers and staff members.

• Provide technical support and oversight for heavy industrial electrical projects throughout the United States.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant professional experience.

• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred.

• Capability to obtain certification in other states is a plus.

• Experience in Metals, Midstream Oil & Gas, Refineries & Petrochemical, and/or Utilities & Power Generation sectors.

• Proficient in SKM and ETAP software.

• Proven experience in leading project teams or engineering groups.

• Demonstrated competency in engineering and design.

• Experience in a consulting environment is preferable.

• Background in heavy industrial engineering projects.
