📋 Description

• Oversee the execution of Simple and Combined Cycle projects within the Heavy Duty Gas Power sector.

• Manage the entire project lifecycle from contract signing to fulfilling contractual obligations.

• Act as the main customer liaison for designated projects.

• Lead customer interaction, negotiations, and resolution of issues.

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, contractors, and vendors.

• Direct the complete execution of large-scale, intricate, non-turnkey, product/equipment-only, and combined cycle projects.

• Collaborate with the ITO Commercial Manager to develop execution strategies and transition projects into execution phases.

• Facilitate contract reviews to ensure alignment on requirements, scope, and obligations.

• Implement project execution using principles of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.

• Take ownership of project revenue, contribution margin, cash flow, profit and loss, budgets, and operational plans.

• Guide teams on project performance metrics and address trade-offs related to cost, schedule, performance, and risk.

• Create and maintain risk and opportunity registers along with mitigation strategies.

• Advocate for GE Vernova’s Safety Toolkit and prioritize health and safety initiatives.

• Utilize risk-based decision-making informed by both internal and external inputs.

• Cultivate project execution and/or technical expertise while promoting best practices.

• Drive innovative solutions in challenging manufacturing, engineering, and production settings.

• Employ operational, engineering, and product management techniques across interconnected workstreams.

• Resolve cross-functional challenges and execution constraints with partner functions.

• Lead project teams and resources facing moderate to high complexity, risk, and scale.

• Provide support to Functional Project Managers with escalations.

• Present project, business, and technical solutions to senior leadership.

• Exhibit influence without authority within a matrixed organization.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.

• At least 8 years of Project Management experience in Energy, Construction, or large capital project environments.

• Willingness to travel to customer sites and other locations up to 30% of the time.

• Proven experience and understanding of large capital project execution costs and estimates.

• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

• Field experience, Project Management, or related expertise.

• Capability to manage multiple phased projects simultaneously and independently.

• Strong customer orientation and ability to build robust relationships.

• Experience in working with and influencing senior-level leaders.

• Strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and strong business and financial acumen.

• Demonstrated proficiency in presenting and conveying complex information clearly.

• Ability to make independent decisions, handle conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment, and effectively interface at all organizational levels.

• Experience applying data and lean methodologies for strategic, operational, and project efficiencies.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Successful completion of a drug screening, as required.
