This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Create and sustain Power BI reports, dashboards, datasets, and semantic models following best-practice star-schema modeling.
• Develop sophisticated DAX and Power Query solutions, encompassing intricate calculations, time intelligence, and performance enhancements.
• Compose and refine SQL queries to extract, transform, validate, and integrate data from various business systems.
• Design and oversee dimensional data models and data warehouse layers, including fact tables, dimension tables, and slowly changing dimensions.
• Construct and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines utilizing tools such as Azure Data Factory, dbt, SSIS, or similar platforms.
• Administer Power BI Service and data governance, which includes managing workspaces, gateways, row-level security, refresh schedules, data quality, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Sales stakeholders to convert business requirements into actionable insights, reporting solutions, and recommendations for senior management.
• Over 5 years of practical Power BI experience, encompassing both Power BI Desktop and Service in a production reporting context.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Advanced proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL, with significant experience in complex calculations, transformations, joins, window functions, and stored procedures.
• Solid understanding of dimensional data modeling, including star schemas, fact/dimension tables, slowly changing dimensions, and data warehouse principles.
• Experience with the administration of Power BI Service, including managing gateways, row-level security, workspaces, deployments, refreshes, and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical, commercial, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the capacity to articulate insights to senior non-technical stakeholders and work autonomously in a remote setting.
• PL-300 certification is preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory/Synapse, dbt, SSIS, Python/R, Power Apps/Automate, or Dynamics 365 Business Central is considered advantageous.
• Work from home.
