Senior Power BI Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive Power BI solutions, encompassing data models, reports, dashboards, and visual analytics.

• Assist in BI migration initiatives across platforms such as Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, and other reporting tools.

• Collect business requirements and convert them into scalable reporting and analytical solutions.

• Develop intuitive and visually engaging dashboards that aid in business decision-making.

• Work in collaboration with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and business stakeholders to guarantee data quality and accuracy in reporting.

• Establish and maintain security models, governance standards, and role-based access controls.

• Enhance Power BI performance, usability, and adoption throughout business teams.

• Contribute to best practices in BI, reporting standards, and initiatives focused on analytics governance.

• Articulate complex analytical concepts effectively to both technical and business audiences.

• Share expertise and provide mentorship to others.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant educational background in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 6 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Reporting projects.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering Power BI solutions within enterprise settings.

• Background in client-facing and consulting roles.

• Professional proficiency in both English and French.

• Extensive experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and advanced visualization techniques.

• Proficient in data modeling, semantic models, and report optimization.

• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.

• Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data integration principles.

• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and reporting architectures.

• Experience in gathering business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.

• Proficient in dashboard design, KPI frameworks, and self-service reporting solutions.

• Must be a citizen of Portugal or Europe, or possess a work permit for Portugal.
