Senior Portfolio and Project Controls Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, development, and enhancement of sophisticated dashboards and KPI tracking systems utilizing Microsoft Power BI, Excel, and various other BI tools.

• Perform intricate data analysis and modeling to produce actionable insights for portfolio planning and strategic decision-making.

• Act as a subject matter expert in the integration of data from Primavera P6, Salesforce, and SQL databases to facilitate portfolio and project controls reporting.

• Propel the analytical advancement of the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.

• Communicate findings effectively to shape strategic direction.

• Create and refine performance measurement frameworks and monitoring systems to proactively oversee project and portfolio health.

• Independently manage complex analytical projects that enhance strategic decision-making and optimize the portfolio.

• Influence practices and policies related to project controls.

• Provide mentorship to others.

• Oversee high-impact projects that support renewable energy initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field is required; or a suitable combination of education and experience.

• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in portfolio analysis, strategic planning, project controls analysis, or a related BI function.

• Proven leadership in cross-functional initiatives.

• Experience in mentoring junior professionals.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMI-SP, PMP, CSCP, CTSC) are preferred.
