Senior Platform Manager, Data Products, Finance Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• You will take on the role of strategic and operational leader for the finance accounting platform.

• Establish and guide the long-term vision for the finance accounting platform.

• Oversee processes from initial accounting impact evaluation through solution design, engineering collaboration, user acceptance testing, release management, and production stabilization.

• Assist in defining and enhancing monitoring controls for data pipelines.

• Aid in the month-end closing processes and collaborate with Finance stakeholders to automate manual operational tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in accounting principles and ASC 606 revenue recognition.

• Demonstrated experience in implementing comprehensive accounting workflows throughout quote-to-cash cycles, including reporting and reconciliation.

• Practical experience in supporting B2C product workflows on finance platforms—preferably within a rapidly growing, high-transaction-volume tech company.

• Strong SQL capabilities and a proven track record of working with large, complex datasets.

• Profound knowledge of big data principles.

• Familiarity with data flows from subledger to General Ledger.

• Experience working with or alongside Oracle FAH, General Ledger, or similar ERP systems.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related technical discipline.

• Over 6 years of experience in platform management, product management, or technical program management with a strong emphasis on finance and accounting data.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficient in Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and contemporary collaboration tools.
