This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Develop the structure of the Application Package in accordance with the specifications of the Snowflake Native App Framework, including permission declarations, egress declarations, and the manifest.
• Create a cloud-agnostic strategy that is Azure-first, featuring modular extensibility for AWS and GCP.
• Design the complete data flow from a desktop collector to the customer's Snowflake environment.
• Document encryption points and access controls meticulously.
• Assess and suggest migration tools for transitioning from Talend to dbt/Snowflake.
• Lead the preparations for the Snowflake Security Review.
• Manage provider account setup along with versioning and release architecture.
• Generate architecture diagrams and compliance documentation necessary for Marketplace listings.
• Provide guidance on architectural decisions and oversee the Snowflake Security Review process.
• Work collaboratively with data engineering, backend, DevOps, and QA teams.
• Over 7 years of experience in cloud or data architecture.
• Practical experience with Snowflake, particularly the Native App Framework or Snowpark.
• Demonstrated ability in delivering architecture documentation for platform reviews or compliance procedures.
• Experience in publishing or contributing to a Snowflake Marketplace application.
• Knowledge of dbt, Streamlit, or Snowflake Cortex.
• Experience with Talend or comparable ETL migration projects.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Legal authorization to work in India is mandatory.
• Proficiency in English is required.
