Mid-Level/Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance Data Lake environments to ensure scalability and effective data governance.

• Create and construct modern, modular data warehouses tailored for growth and optimal performance.

• Design data schemas and robust architectures in line with data engineering best practices.

• Define and refine data architecture to maintain reliable, scalable, and well-organized environments.

• Perform exploratory analyses and aid in the creation of predictive models.

• Engage in the development of data-driven recommendation systems and processes.

• Provide business squads with structured, trustworthy data that is ready to generate value.

• Serve as a technical expert, mentoring and supporting junior professionals.

• Collaborate proactively with the team to address complex challenges and transform data into actionable insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing ETL architectures.

• Understanding of architectures aimed at enhancing data performance and operations.

• Hands-on experience managing and operating relational databases.

• Prior experience with DataOps methodologies.

• Proficiency in programming languages and algorithms, particularly Python and TensorFlow.

• Knowledge and experience in data development, integrations, and operations with Docker and/or Kubernetes.

• GCP certifications will be considered an advantage.

• A Bachelor's degree in IT or a comparable field.

• Strong sense of ownership and dedication to delivering results.

• A proactive and collaborative approach to work.

• Capability to tackle challenges and follow through to completion.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
