Senior Platform Engineer – Jfrog Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create scalable, efficient, and cost-effective AWS environments utilizing Terraform and contemporary Infrastructure-as-Code best practices.

• Design enterprise-grade AWS solutions with a focus on security, ensuring resilience, availability, and optimal performance.

• Enhance release automation through CI/CD pipelines employing GitOps, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.

• Streamline the automation of patching, upgrades, and continuous maintenance of Infrastructure-as-Code and pipelines.

• Collaborate with external clients as well as internal architects, developers, and security teams.

• Propel organization-wide AWS infrastructure automation to reduce manual interventions and minimize errors.

• Propose enhancements and contribute to the evolution of the cloud strategy.

• Undertake additional tasks as directed by the manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• At least 6+ years of industry and/or relevant experience.

• Typically 1+ years in a Senior Associate level position or its external equivalent.

• Preferred 8+ years of experience in developing Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or similar).

• A minimum of 6+ years in building pipelines with GitOps (FluxCD, ArgoCD) and automation tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).

• Practical experience with Kubernetes, service mesh (Istio, Linkerd), and auto-scaling solutions like Karpenter.

• Strong background in scripting/programming languages such as Python, Shell, or equivalent.

• Proficient in AWS services including EKS, EC2, RDS, Lambda, Step Functions, VPC, IAM, and security/firewall rules.

• Familiarity with Docker and AWS cloud components such as API Gateway.

• Capability to work with Terraform and modern Infrastructure-as-Code best practices.
