Senior Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist in enhancing and optimizing current server operations and endpoint engineering functions

• Create and deploy PaaS and serverless solutions to upgrade the platform

• Build self-service portals and automation frameworks

• Work collaboratively with teams to refine processes and embrace platform engineering methodologies

• Promote modernization and aid the team's transition efforts

• Oversee infrastructure management, support IaaS, and ensure the stability of endpoints

• Advocate for PaaS, serverless technologies, and self-service functionalities

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in platform, infrastructure, or DevOps engineering

• Practical experience in server operations and endpoint management, including Intune

• Extensive knowledge of IaaS, particularly Azure

• Familiarity with at least one major PaaS or serverless platform

• Strong background in automation using Terraform, Ansible, or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools

• Demonstrated ability to deliver self-service tools that are embraced by other developers

• Capacity to guide technical direction without formal management roles

• Significant experience in server operations, endpoint engineering, IaaS, and Release Engineering

• Proficiency in PaaS, serverless, and automation technologies

• Ability to lead by example and mentor teams towards a platform-first approach

• Experience with internal developer portals

• Background in platform product thinking, treating internal teams as customers

• Understanding of FinOps or cloud cost optimization at scale
