This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Provide support to clients in the Los Angeles, CA area
• Drive sales of Mentor products and convert competitive offerings in line with company policies and sales strategies
• Achieve sales targets with both new and existing accounts to fulfill sales goals and enhance market presence
• Showcase the appropriate surgical application of products to physicians
• Address customer inquiries and objections utilizing established sales training techniques
• Sustain and grow existing accounts, establish new ones, foster customer relationships, and achieve sales targets
• Conduct the selling process with professionalism, integrity, and persuasive skills
• Relay business challenges or opportunities to management
• Cultivate customer relationships and manage accounts through consultative selling, pre-call planning, needs assessment, presentations, closing, and follow-up
• Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and allocate marketing initiatives
• Position the Mentor product line for augmentation and reconstruction applications
• Manage multiple product call points across private practices, surgical centers, and hospitals
• Evaluate territory metrics and implement business plans for the territory
• Promote marketing initiatives in private practice environments
• Fulfill sales training, administrative obligations, and consignment audits
• Keep territory within regional travel and budgetary constraints
• Leverage market insights and product knowledge to support studies, materials, strategies, and marketing plans
• Bachelor’s degree
• 4–6 years of overall work experience
• At least 4 years of experience in outside sales
• Surgical sales experience is preferred
• Familiarity with clinical and surgical techniques, procedures, and medical terminology is preferred
• Over 4 years of sales experience with a proven track record of at least 2 years of success in a medical device sales setting is preferred
• Experience engaging with surgeons in an operating room context and/or calling on plastic surgeons is preferred
• Aesthetics sales experience is preferred
• Capability to identify decision-makers and influence their choices
• Proficiency in managing and prioritizing workload, multitasking, and handling diverse responsibilities
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Ability to oversee budgets, expenses, and implement plans
• Strong computer proficiency
• Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities
• Skill in articulating scientific/clinical product features and benefits
• Understanding of breast anatomy
• Technical knowledge across Mentor and competitive product lines
• Capacity to operate effectively in a high-performance team and adapt to a fast-paced environment
