This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead, manage, mentor, train, and develop the sales team, which includes outbound setters and Enrollment Directors.
• Recruit and onboard new sales talent.
• Set expectations, activity standards, KPIs, accountability measures, and performance management systems.
• Make personnel decisions and continually enhance the sales organization.
• Expand the outbound setter team to foster qualified sales conversations.
• Develop a self-sourced pipeline through outbound prospecting rather than relying mainly on inbound marketing.
• Enhance prospecting strategies, scripts, lead management, follow-up, reactivation, and referral generation.
• Collaborate with leadership and marketing to optimize databases, outbound lists, inbound leads, events, referrals, and other lead sources.
• Review sales conversations to refine discovery, qualification, objection handling, emotional engagement, and closing techniques.
• Coach Enrollment Directors using recorded calls, role-playing, scripting, and continuous feedback.
• Serve as a backup closer when needed.
• Analyze activity, appointments, conversion rates, enrollments, pipeline, and revenue.
• Convert performance data into coaching, processes, staffing decisions, and sales strategies.
• Foster a disciplined sales culture centered around accountability and measurable outcomes.
• Scale the setter team to approximately 6–8 effective part-time setters and achieve 20–30 scheduled qualified sales appointments monthly.
• Aim for qualified close rates of at least 25%.
• Significant experience with an appointment-setting and consultative closing sales model.
• Proven experience selling high-ticket services or programs to small and midsized business owners via phone or Zoom.
• A successful salesperson with verifiable sales achievements, close rates, average deal sizes, quotas, and performance metrics.
• Proficient in conducting discovery, identifying business and emotional pain points, managing objections, and closing sales.
• Experience in generating pipeline through outbound prospecting, both cold and warm outreach, database reactivation, referrals, or similar proactive methods.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant sales leadership experience; ideally 10+ years.
• Experience in inheriting and significantly improving an underperforming sales team or function.
• Background in hiring, coaching, or replacing sales personnel while enhancing processes or accountability.
• Self-motivated, organized, autonomous, accountable, and comfortable making tough decisions.
• Strong communication skills with a commitment to following through on promises.
