Senior People Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee People Team projects from initiation to completion, which includes defining scope, workstreams, ownership, and delivery.

• Cultivate relationships with HR, Finance, Legal, IT, and various other departments.

• Recognize project stakeholders and ensure their alignment from the beginning to the conclusion of projects.

• Create and uphold project charters, RACI matrices, timelines, status reports, risk logs, and decision documentation.

• Develop change management strategies that encompass review and approval cycles, training, enablement, and communication plans.

• Facilitate decision-making, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure stakeholder alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

• Collaborate on People-related elements of subsidiary integrations, including onboarding, offboarding, benefits, recruiting, HR systems, policy alignment, organizational structure, compensation, and compliance.

• Mentor People Team members as they manage their individual projects.

• Oversee project management tools, including the design and governance of workflows in Monday for the People team.

• Identify, develop, and implement AI-driven process enhancements and share successful strategies with the team.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of project or program management experience, including at least 1 year in a supportive or operational role within the People function.

• Proven ability to scope projects from the ground up, breaking tasks into manageable components, sequencing them, and defining ownership prior to project commencement.

• Highly collaborative with exceptional stakeholder management abilities.

• Experience in navigating challenging stakeholder relationships and maintaining project momentum despite disagreements.

• Skillful in anticipating risks and dependencies before they result in delays.

• Self-motivated individual who proactively identifies necessary actions and takes initiative without needing direction.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complex tasks for diverse audiences.

• Comfortable with uncertainty and consistently driven to find resolutions.

• Effective at solving or appropriately escalating obstacles.

• Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools.

• Proficiency with Monday and Confluence is preferred.

• Proven success in streamlining processes and utilizing technology and AI solutions.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.

• Must disclose whether visa sponsorship will be required now or in the future.

• At least 1 year of experience supporting a People/HR function or working directly in HR.
