This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a reliable thought partner for leadership, assisting in the development and implementation of people strategies.
• Manage employee relations comprehensively, addressing inquiries, accommodations, investigations, and performance issues.
• Provide coaching and guidance to people managers regarding performance, team dynamics, development, and organizational transformation.
• Ensure adherence to wage and hour laws, leave policies, accommodation processes, and documentation standards.
• Oversee performance cycles, calibration processes, and career discussions.
• Enhance job architecture and career frameworks.
• Utilize people data and insights to detect trends and support decision-making.
• Promote engagement, cultural initiatives, and development programs.
• Assist with onboarding, benefits administration, and operational tasks related to people systems.
• Over 7 years of progressive HR experience, including significant time as an HR/People Partner in a rapidly growing tech or startup/scaleup setting.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Proven experience and accountability in employee relations, investigations, and performance management.
• Strong operator and advisor who is comfortable with ambiguity, capable of challenging assumptions and translating business needs into actionable solutions.
• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication abilities.
• Proven history of coaching and influencing managers, including those new to leadership roles.
• Comprehensive understanding of HR principles, compliance regulations, and leave & accommodation laws, including FMLA, ADA interactive processes, and state paid family leave.
• Familiarity with job architecture, leveling, or compensation frameworks, or a genuine interest in developing these areas.
• Excellent judgment and discretion when dealing with sensitive information.
• Resourceful self-starter with a proactive "roll up your sleeves" attitude.
• Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
• SPHR certification or a concentration in Industrial Organizational Psychology is a plus.
