This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +3 more states.
• Oversee the comprehensive onboarding process for new employees across designated client groups, covering logistics, systems access, and tailored role-specific ramp plans.
• Create and consistently enhance onboarding experiences that reflect the Chamber’s culture and values.
• Manage the off-boarding process, which includes conducting exit interviews, handling confidential information, removing systems access, and reporting on exit trends.
• Ensure that both onboarding and off-boarding procedures adhere to healthcare standards, including credentialing and HIPAA-related access controls.
• Lead the performance management cycles, which encompass goal-setting, mid-year assessments, and annual reviews.
• Facilitate calibration sessions to ensure fair and consistent performance ratings and promotion decisions.
• Collaborate on succession planning and the development of high-potential talent.
• Address complex employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and propose resolutions.
• Guide managers through challenging conversations, performance concerns, leadership essentials, feedback, team well-being, and accountability.
• Identify skill gaps and suggest focused development opportunities or training programs.
• Provide counsel to leaders on team dynamics, organizational changes, and growth-related challenges.
• Analyze engagement levels, attrition rates, hiring velocity, and other HR data to pinpoint risks and opportunities.
• Convert data insights into actionable recommendations for leadership.
• Develop and maintain reporting dashboards or summaries for essential HR metrics.
• Assist in designing and implementing compensation cycles, encompassing merit increases, promotions, and equity refreshes.
• Oversee the rollout and analysis of engagement surveys, transforming results into actionable plans.
• Formulate and revise HR policies for a distributed healthcare organization, ensuring compliance and clarity.
• Report directly to the VP of People Operations and act as an HR partner to clinical operations, technology, and G&A leaders.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive HR business partner experience, with at least 2 years of direct support to senior leaders.
• Experience collaborating with technology, product, or clinical operations teams in healthcare, health-tech, or another regulated, mission-driven sector is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in designing and operationalizing HR processes, including performance management, organizational design, and workforce planning, within a fast-paced growth environment.
• Strong judgment in handling confidential and sensitive employee relations issues.
• High data fluency with the capability to extract insights from HR data to inform strategic recommendations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a knack for quickly building trust with executives and individual contributors alike.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to the pace of an early-stage to growth-stage company.
• Must possess authorization to work in the US without the need for sponsorship.
