This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.
• Lead the global strategy for patient recruitment and retention throughout the clinical trial lifecycle.
• Develop and take ownership of comprehensive recruitment and retention plans that align with enrollment objectives.
• Identify potential recruitment risks, formulate mitigation strategies, and modify plans based on study performance.
• Act as the primary subject matter expert for patient recruitment and engagement during client-facing interactions.
• Assist in proposals, bid defenses, and strategic planning activities related to recruitment efforts.
• Collaborate with Project Leads, Clinical Leads, CRAs, study teams, and operational stakeholders during study initiation and enrollment.
• Oversee all recruitment-related study activities, timelines, strategies, approvals, reporting updates, and training.
• Maintain oversight of site-specific recruitment commitments, strategies, and progress tracking.
• Review data on pre-screening, screening, screen failure, and recruitment rates to inform strategic decisions.
• Coordinate recruitment tactics and materials across global regions while adhering to country-specific requirements.
• Develop and implement site engagement initiatives and strategies specific to each country.
• Lead the creation, review, approval, translation, production, and distribution of patient-facing recruitment materials.
• Oversee Central Recruitment campaigns across participating sites effectively.
• Ensure the quality and timeliness of deliverables in collaboration with customer teams.
• Monitor enrollment metrics and recruitment performance continuously.
• Analyze recruitment data to uncover trends, risks, and optimization opportunities.
• Create dashboards, reports, and presentations for clients and internal stakeholders at the executive level.
• Track recruitment and diversity metrics throughout the execution of the study.
• Manage third-party recruitment vendors and service providers efficiently.
• Oversee vendor performance and the quality of deliverables.
• Collaborate with Finance on recruitment budgets, invoices, out-of-scope activities, and contract modifications.
• Take responsibility for financial forecasting for assigned projects.
• Work with Population Science and internal stakeholders on diversity objectives.
• Ensure the implementation and monitoring of diversity plans throughout the enrollment period.
• Advocate for patient-centric recruitment strategies that enhance engagement and retention.
• Ensure that recruitment activities comply with regulations, SOPs, study protocols, and patient privacy requirements.
• Maintain adherence to study tools, systems, documentation, and quality standards.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, along with relevant formal academic or vocational qualifications.
• Prior experience in patient recruitment within clinical trials, including study management operations and the creation of global strategies, typically 5+ years of experience.
• Expertise in designing and executing global patient recruitment campaigns.
• Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO sponsors.
• Experience managing vendors, budgets, and cross-functional project teams.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial operations and enrollment strategies.
• Experience in presenting recruitment strategies and performance metrics to executive-level stakeholders.
• Knowledge of the development and localization of recruitment materials.
• Familiarity with the strategic development and implementation of recruitment campaigns.
• Experience in collaboration with internal clinical operations and clinical management teams.
• Experience supporting diverse patient recruitment initiatives.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent client relationship management and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in data interpretation.
• Experience in developing recruitment reports, dashboards, and executive-level presentations.
• Strong organizational and prioritization capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple global studies concurrently.
• Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and risk management skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, patient privacy requirements, and ethical recruitment practices.
• Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work effectively within a global matrix organization.
• Ability to communicate, comprehend, and convey information and ideas to diverse groups of individuals.
• Ability to maintain an upright and stationary position during typical working hours.
• Ability to use and learn standard office equipment and technology.
• Ability to perform successfully under pressure while prioritizing and managing multiple projects or activities.
• May require occasional travel (0–20%).
