This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver expert legal services with minimal oversight from a TNC attorney.
• Assist and coordinate legal services for intricate and/or high-value matters pertaining to specific business units or projects.
• Ensure that transactions and activities adhere to legal standards and align with TNC's mission, authority, policies, and procedures.
• Clearly communicate relevant legal concepts as well as internal policies and procedures to others.
• Utilize knowledge of legal liability and risk management effectively.
• Review, draft, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements, which include vendor, consulting, technology, services, and confidentiality contracts.
• Utilize predetermined templates, playbooks, and negotiation guidelines.
• Act as a primary contact for contract intake.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to collect requirements and identify potential risks.
• Ensure prompt contract review and execution.
• Monitor contract metrics and assess workflow performance.
• Identify areas for efficiency improvements.
• Maintain contract templates, clause libraries, playbooks, and other relevant contracting resources.
• Support the administration of contract management systems and associated technologies.
• Coordinate activities concerning the organization's trademark and service mark portfolio.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of combined legal and administrative experience OR equivalent qualifications obtained through coursework and/or relevant job experience demonstrating significant responsibilities in supporting and coordinating complex or specialized legal work.
• Legal experience in contract review and/or contracts administration.
• Proficient in conducting research online and utilizing other legal resources.
• Familiarity with MS Office applications.
• Experience with enterprise file management systems such as SharePoint or iManage.
• Knowledge of other relevant technologies.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Effective communication, critical thinking, and writing abilities.
• Proven experience in editing and drafting legal documents.
• Background in project and/or process management for optimizing workflow.
• Multi-lingual skills and experience in diverse cultures are valued.
• Familiarity with tracking trademark portfolios is a plus.
• Experience in reviewing technology and data processing agreements is appreciated.
