This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Lead the strategy and execution of Paid Search primarily on Google Ads, along with other relevant platforms.
β’ Take ownership of the strategy, performance, and optimization of paid search campaigns for a diverse portfolio of education-focused clients.
β’ Create and enhance keyword strategies based on search intent, audience behavior, and partner objectives.
β’ Develop and manage campaigns, ad groups, keywords, match types, negative keywords, bidding strategies, and budgets.
β’ Compose and refine search ad copy to align with user intent, messaging, and conversion targets.
β’ Track campaign performance, budget pacing, and key metrics including CTR, CPC, conversion rate, CPA, and ROAS.
β’ Examine search queries, keyword performance, and conversion data to uncover optimization opportunities.
β’ Conduct ongoing testing across keywords, bids, ad copy, landing pages, and campaign structures.
β’ Convert performance data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for partners and internal teams.
β’ Collaborate with Analytics and Account Services teams on conversion tracking and reporting.
β’ Stay updated on Google Ads developments, automation, bidding technologies, and shifts in search behavior.
β’ Mentor team members and contribute to the overarching Paid Media vision of the agency.
β’ Engage in cross-functional and leadership interviews as part of the hiring process.
β’ A minimum of 4 years of hands-on Paid Search experience, preferably in an agency or multi-account setting.
β’ In-depth expertise in Google Ads, including keyword research, bidding strategies, campaign structure, search queries, and optimization.
β’ Demonstrated experience managing performance-driven campaigns with significant budgets.
β’ Profound understanding of search intent and the ability to translate it into effective keyword and campaign strategies.
β’ Experience in optimizing campaigns for lead generation, inquiries, applications, enrollments, or other conversion-oriented goals.
β’ Strong analytical abilities and comfort working with large datasets relating to campaign and performance metrics.
β’ Capability to diagnose performance fluctuations and translate insights into clear optimization actions.
β’ Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, or similar analytics/tracking tools.
β’ Strong client-facing and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical performance to non-technical stakeholders.
β’ Excellent organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple accounts and priorities concurrently.
β’ Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.
