
Senior Paid Advertising Strategist – Ecommerce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica, +2 more countries.
• Oversee the performance marketing strategy and its implementation across key accounts, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
• Perform comprehensive quality assurance to avoid errors that could adversely affect client revenue.
• Guarantee proper budget management and provide guidance on any necessary budget adjustments.
• Drive proactive strategic recommendations across designated channels.
• Evaluate campaign data and client-specific reference points, including MMTs, to create actionable insights and strategic plans.
• Manage client testing roadmaps and coordinate subsequent action steps.
• Utilize advanced technical expertise in attribution, incrementality, contribution analysis, measurement frameworks, MMTs/LRAs, and channel-specific best practices.
• Maintain high-quality communication with both clients and internal teams.
• Facilitate strategic discussions regarding media purchasing, performance prospects, and optimization strategies.
• Identify and escalate performance risks promptly.
• Act as a key strategic figure within the department and account teams.
• Complete new business evaluations as necessary for the paid advertising product.
• Mentor and guide junior team members through knowledge sharing and team activities.
• Implement recommendations from the Power Circuit solutions roadmap.
• Utilize AI technologies to improve workflows, outputs, and overall business efficiency.
• Incorporate Power Digital’s Nova ecosystem tools and methodologies into daily operations.
• 4-5 years of digital marketing experience; with at least 3 years in an agency environment.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of hands-on experience with at least two paid advertising channels.
• Familiarity with Google/Bing, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat, and other relevant paid advertising platforms.
• Experience in bid optimization, keyword research, ad copy creation, campaign strategy, and optimizations.
• Proficient in Google/Microsoft Office Suite(s).
• Proficient in Google Analytics.
• In-depth understanding of funnel marketing and the role of paid media within the marketing funnel.
• Ability to derive meaningful insights from marketing data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
• Self-driven individual with a robust desire to excel.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Confidence in client-facing presentations and communication.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to learn swiftly and independently.
