
Senior Paid Advertising Strategist – Ecommerce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee the strategy and execution of performance marketing for prominent accounts.
• Perform comprehensive quality assurance to mitigate errors that could impact client revenue.
• Monitor budget pacing accurately and provide guidance on necessary budget adjustments.
• Drive proactive strategy recommendations within designated paid advertising channels.
• Examine campaign data and client-specific metrics to generate actionable insights and suggestions.
• Manage client testing roadmaps and oversee the next steps for experimentation.
• Utilize advanced expertise in attribution, incrementality, contribution analysis, measurement frameworks, MMTs/LRAs, and channel best practices.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients and internal teams.
• Facilitate strategic discussions regarding media buying, performance enhancements, and optimization strategies.
• Identify and escalate performance risks at an early stage.
• Act as a strategic leader within both the department and account teams.
• Conduct new business evaluations as necessary.
• Mentor junior team members through knowledge sharing and team activities.
• Implement recommendations from the Power Circuit solutions roadmap.
• Utilize AI technologies and incorporate Power Digital’s Nova ecosystem tools and methodologies.
• 4-5 years of experience in digital marketing; at least 3 years within an agency environment.
• A minimum of 3-4 years of direct experience with at least two paid advertising channels.
• Familiarity with Google/Bing, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat, and other relevant paid advertising platforms.
• Experience in bid optimization, keyword research, ad copy creation, campaign strategy, and optimizations.
• Proficient in Google/Microsoft Office Suite(s).
• Strong proficiency in Google Analytics.
• In-depth understanding of funnel marketing and the role of paid media within the marketing funnel.
• Ability to extract valuable insights from marketing data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
• Self-driven with a robust desire to achieve success.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Comfort with client-facing presentations and communications.
