Senior Oracle Developer, Intermediate English

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Analyze functional and technical requirements.

• Understand business rules and translate them into technical solutions.

• Develop and maintain solutions using Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL.

• Create and modify stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.

• Analyze existing applications and processes to identify impacts from new requirements.

• Develop and optimize SQL queries.

• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

• Address corrective and evolutionary maintenance requests.

• Participate in testing and validation of solutions.

• Document developments, changes, and implemented solutions.

• Collaborate with functional teams, development, and QA.

• Engage in estimations and refinements of requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience in analysis and development of Oracle solutions.

• Proficiency in Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL.

• Experience developing stored procedures, functions, packages, and/or triggers.

• Background in analyzing requirements and business rules.

• Ability to conduct impact analysis on existing applications or processes.

• Experience with corrective and evolutionary maintenance.

• Proficient in debugging and issue resolution.

• Knowledge of SQL query optimization.

• Capability to work independently.

• Experience working with agile methodologies.

• Fluent in Spanish.

• Remote position for candidates located in LATAM.

• Full-time availability.

• Technical/intermediate English is desirable.

• Preferred experience with Oracle Forms & Reports or APEX, REST/SOAP integrations, Git, and high-transaction enterprise systems.
