This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Deliver scientific information and effectively present and promote relevant AbbVie products to office-based specialists and hospital physicians, ensuring compliance with Section 76 of the German Medicines Act (AMG).
• Execute the brand strategy efficiently.
• Perform market analyses utilizing available data and assess the regional market concerning the sales development of the company’s products and competing products.
• Recognize opportunities and critical developments.
• Design, align, and implement a territory plan in collaboration with the in-field team.
• Manage customer relationships competently and provide active advice to physicians, pharmacists, and, when applicable, healthcare organizations.
• Plan, organize, and conduct educational events, while also participating in regional and national events.
• Build and expand networks among hospitals, office-based physicians, and other stakeholders involved in patient care.
• Collect market information and customer insights to ascertain customers’ positions within the sales cycle.
• Maintain proactive communication with the Regional Manager.
• Generate professional reports and complete administrative tasks punctually.
• Collaborate effectively within and outside the in-field team.
• Foster open communication and encourage the continuous exchange of experiences and ideas.
• Proactively advocate for customer needs on an ongoing basis.
• Share accountability for achieving regional objectives.
• Adhere to all legal, regulatory, ethical, and compliance requirements, including the Code of Business Conduct.
• Successfully completed a university degree in a natural science discipline.
• Qualification as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative or the requisite expertise in accordance with Section 75 of the German Medicines Act (AMG).
• Foundational knowledge of GxP.
• Experience in working within an in-field team and leading cross-functional projects in a matrix organization.
• Solid understanding of the relevant therapeutic area.
• Several years of field sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry, demonstrating above-average sales performance; experience in the relevant therapeutic area is advantageous.
• Capability to present complex scientific concepts in a manner tailored to target groups and engage in discussions with various customer groups.
• Highly persuasive, presentation-oriented personality with outstanding communication skills (Challenger methodology).
• Ability to adapt continuously to evolving market conditions and innovate one's working methods independently.
• High motivation and energy to pursue and achieve set goals.
• Excellent performance management skills to consistently optimize sales target achievement.
• Strong digital skills and proficiency with field sales applications (such as Veeva CRM and CLM, XPM, WebEx, etc.) and MS Office.
• Strong analytical skills combined with creativity.
