This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Promote Pfizer's diverse product portfolio to healthcare providers and specialists.
• Provide education to members of the healthcare community on the proper use of Pfizer products.
• Engage with accounts and organized customers to enhance patient experiences with Pfizer offerings and improve overall patient care quality.
• Strengthen Pfizer's brand presence among high-value target customers.
• Evaluate account and business landscapes while linking insights to an understanding of Pfizer products and resources.
• Advocate for a wide range of products.
• Drive demand for Pfizer products within assigned accounts.
• Create detailed territory, account, and customer plans to meet objectives.
• Sustain relationships across institutions.
• Navigate obstacles to access hard-to-reach healthcare providers and customers.
• Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and important customers.
• Identify the needs of target physicians and accounts, addressing them with tailored approaches, skills, and resources.
• Engage, influence, and support customers during the sales process.
• Operate effectively in a matrix environment and utilize various resources to fulfill customer needs and achieve results.
• BA/BS Degree from an accredited institution, or an associate’s degree with 8+ years of experience; or a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and stay overnight as required.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Any DUI/DWI or similar impaired driving citation within the last 7 years will disqualify candidates from being hired.
• At least 4 years of prior experience in Pharmaceutical Sales, or 4 years of experience as an Oncology Healthcare Professional (HCP) working with key Oncology thought leaders or influential customers in hospitals, large group practices, or managed care organizations.
• Proven track record of success and achievement in previous Pharmaceutical Sales or Healthcare Professional (HCP) roles.
• Outstanding ability to learn and communicate technical and scientific product and disease management information to a diverse audience of customers.
• Demonstrated strong business acumen.
• Proficient in using complex digital applications and capable of adapting to Pfizer’s long-term technology model.
• 3-5 years of experience in Oncology sales is preferred.
• Background in Melanoma/Colorectal Cancer Therapeutic Areas is preferred.
• A Master’s Degree is preferred.
• An Advanced Healthcare Professional (HCP) Degree is preferred.
• Experience in calling on institutions, NCI centers, and Key Opinion Leaders is preferred.
• Candidates must have the authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer.
• U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available for this role currently or in the future.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.
