This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Promote Pfizer’s product lineup to healthcare providers and specialists.
• Educate members of the medical community on the proper use of Pfizer products.
• Engage with accounts and organized customers to enhance patient experiences with Pfizer products and the overall quality of care.
• Strengthen Pfizer’s brand presence among high-value target customers.
• Connect insightful evaluations of accounts and business landscapes with a robust understanding of Pfizer products and resources.
• Advocate for a wide array of products.
• Drive demand for Pfizer products within designated accounts.
• Formulate detailed territory, account, and customer strategies to meet objectives.
• Sustain relationships across institutions.
• Navigate obstacles to access hard-to-reach healthcare providers and customers.
• Develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and foster enduring connections with priority customers.
• Identify the needs of target physicians and accounts, addressing them with effective approaches, targeted skills, and suitable resources.
• Engage, influence, and support customers throughout the sales process.
• Operate within a matrix environment, utilizing multiple resources to fulfill customer needs and achieve results.
• Territory includes, but is not limited to, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, California, and surrounding areas.
• BA/BS Degree from an accredited institution OR an associate’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and stay overnight as needed.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and driving record that complies with company standards.
• Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will result in disqualification from employment.
• A minimum of 4 years of prior experience in Pharmaceutical Sales or at least 4 years of experience as an Oncology Healthcare Professional (HCP) working with key Oncology thought leaders or high-influence customers in hospitals, large group practices, or managed care organizations.
• Proven history of success and achievement in previous Pharmaceutical Sales or Healthcare Professional (HCP) roles.
• Exceptional ability to learn and communicate technical and scientific product and disease management information to a diverse range of customers.
• Demonstrated high level of business acumen.
• Proficient in using complex digital applications and adaptable to Pfizer’s long-term technology model.
• Preferred: 3–5 years of experience in Oncology sales.
• Preferred: Experience in the Hematology Therapeutic Area.
• Preferred: Master’s Degree.
• Preferred: Advanced Healthcare Professional (HCP) Degree.
• Preferred: Experience engaging with institutions, NCI centers, and Key Opinion Leaders.
• Candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer.
• This position requires permanent work authorization in the United States.
