Senior Node.js Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and manage Tether’s P2P architecture

• Enhance the ecosystem to support over 1,500 public npm modules

• Construct and maintain a solid, modular codebase

• Develop Node.js applications for production environments

• Create and oversee reusable npm modules

• Conduct software testing and debugging

• Improve network protocols and systems for latency and throughput

• Work collaboratively with a remote, globally distributed team

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in Node.js development with large-scale applications

• Strong ability to write modular, maintainable code

• Experience in creating and managing reusable npm modules

• Proficient in testing and debugging practices

• Keen interest or background in P2P technologies or distributed systems

• Comfortable working within a remote, globally distributed team

• Effective communication skills

• Preferred: experience with native Node.js extensions utilizing C/C++ or binding JavaScript to lower-level code

• Preferred: capability to optimize network protocols or systems for latency and throughput

• Preferred: understanding of advanced networking concepts

• Preferred: contributions to open-source software initiatives, particularly in P2P or decentralized technology
