Senior Network & Security Engineer – Cisco, Fortinet

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee corporate networks for clients.

• Deliver continuous support, maintenance, and enhancement of intricate network environments.

• Plan, design, and manage contemporary firewall, LAN, and WLAN infrastructures.

• Investigate issues, resolve incidents independently, and oversee changes within network environments.

• Create automation solutions to boost operational efficiency.

• Assist internal sales teams with technical knowledge during the pre-sales phase.

⛳️ Requirements

• Eligibility for permanent employment in Switzerland.

• Experience in project work.

• Relevant networking or security certification, such as CCNP or NSE8.

• Higher education in IT or comparable professional experience.

• Cisco and Fortinet certifications or training; familiarity with additional vendors is a bonus, as well as a readiness to pursue further certifications.

• Comprehensive knowledge of perimeter security, routing and switching, VPN, TCP/IP, and WLAN.

• Experience with an IT service provider and some background in software development are beneficial.

• Excellent command of written and spoken German.

• Proficient in written and spoken English.
