Network Analyst II – NOC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Oversee customer network infrastructure utilizing established NOC tools to detect issues and respond to alerts.

β€’ Create, manage, and update trouble tickets related to network problems.

β€’ Conduct initial diagnostics of connectivity issues by employing SOPs and troubleshooting manuals.

β€’ Recognize complex incidents and escalate them to NetOps Engineering or suitable resources after performing basic checks.

β€’ Relay updates to customers and internal stakeholders through phone, tickets, and email communications.

β€’ Maintain the team's knowledge base and propose updates to outdated SOPs.

β€’ Offer guidance and first-level procedural support to Network Analyst I team members.

β€’ Engage in an on-call rotation, which includes evening shifts.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Strong familiarity with general computing (Windows, Web Browsers, Microsoft Office) and the ability to quickly master new network monitoring software.

β€’ Capability to follow and validate logical workflows and written instructions to address network issues.

β€’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to maintain professionalism and composure under pressure during high-traffic situations.

β€’ Demonstrated experience in engaging with customers or clients in a technical support role.

β€’ Solid understanding of Internet connectivity, IP addressing, and the operation of routers/switches.

β€’ Knowledge of basic computer hardware and cabling (Ethernet, Fiber jumpers).

β€’ 1–3 years of experience in a NOC or technical support setting.

β€’ A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

β€’ Previous experience with ticketing systems and ensuring accurate data entry.

β€’ Familiarity with network monitoring tools, dashboards, and the ability to interpret alarm data.

β€’ Proven track record of punctuality and consistent attendance.

β€’ Self-motivated individual who actively seeks opportunities for documentation improvements or learning during downtime.

β€’ Ability to adhere to and review detailed instructions without omitting steps.
