Senior Network Microsegmentation Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the deployment, configuration, administration, and continuous support of network microsegmentation solutions.

• Manage and uphold network infrastructure, ensuring optimal availability, performance, and security.

• Administer and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.

• Implement and manage segmentation, security, and access control policies.

• Monitor the performance and availability of the network infrastructure.

• Analyze and troubleshoot intricate connectivity and security incidents and issues.

• Assist in defining and implementing microsegmentation policies, taking into account security requirements and the communication between applications and environments.

• Engage in network infrastructure expansion, modernization, and enhancement projects.

• Identify risks and opportunities for improvement within the network and security landscape.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for implemented configurations, policies, and solutions.

• Collaborate with teams in Information Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, and other Technology sectors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Networks, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration.

• Demonstrated experience in deploying and/or administering network microsegmentation solutions.

• Familiarity with solutions such as Akamai Guardicore, Illumio, or equivalent microsegmentation platforms.

• Advanced understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, and OSPF protocols.

• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or comparable equipment and environments.

• Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and network security principles.

• Experience in implementing security and access control policies.

• Capability to work independently in analyzing and resolving complex infrastructure and networking challenges.

• CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent certifications are advantageous.

• Information Security and Networking certifications or specializations are beneficial.

• Experience with Zero Trust and Network Security initiatives is a plus.

• Familiarity with Cloud environments and hybrid networks is a plus.

• Experience in large-scale enterprise settings is a plus.
