System Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Conducting business and system analyses related to the construction, development, and maintenance of products and processes.

• Gathering, clarifying, and documenting requirements with a focus on their quality, consistency, and change traceability.

• Organizing and facilitating project meetings, analytical workshops, and refinement sessions.

• Collaborating with business, development, UX, and QA teams to refine the product.

• Participating in the full software development lifecycle—from analysis through testing to deployment.

• Supporting backlog prioritization and sprint planning.

• Identifying project risks and proposing mitigation actions.

• Ensuring transparent communication and information flow among stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ability to model business processes using BPMN.

• Proficiency in working with Postgres databases, including SQL and DDL.

• Skill in developing system models using UML notation.

• Capability to prepare REST API service specifications in YAML and Swagger.

• Experience in managing a repository of system models in Enterprise Architect.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.

• Ability to create User Stories, define acceptance criteria, and assist the team in refining them.

• Knowledge of Atlassian Jira, Confluence, and GitLab.

• Experience in preparing system, analytical, and project documentation.

• Background in working with applications, systems, and digital processes.

• Capability to translate business requirements into functional and non-functional requirement specifications.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to lead meetings and workshops while collaborating with stakeholders.

• Skill in organizing one's own and the team's work, planning tasks, and monitoring progress.

• Communicative proficiency in English.

• Preferred experience in the financial or banking sector.

• Preferred experience in manual testing or support for acceptance testing.

• Preferred experience working with REST API and integration tools, such as AsyncAPI.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and inter-system communication is a plus.

• Preferred experience with RabbitMQ or Kafka.
