Senior NetSuite ZoneBilling Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Create comprehensive quote-to-cash solutions utilizing Salesforce and NetSuite, incorporating ZoneBilling for subscription, usage-based, and project-based billing, as well as revenue recognition and accounts receivable.

• Collaborate with Salesforce architects to ensure that CPQ and Revenue Cloud models are accurately reflected in ZoneBilling records.

• Establish the ZoneBilling data model along with billing rules, proration, and revenue components, including handling of amendments.

• Align Salesforce products with NetSuite items and configure customer, subsidiary, multi-currency, tax, accounts receivable, and revenue recognition setups.

• Design Salesforce-to-NetSuite integrations using Workato or Celigo, focusing on synchronization, triggers, error management, retries, idempotency, and return flows.

• Identify origins of consumption data, aggregation methods, usage records, and true-up processes.

• Oversee the migration of ongoing contracts, active subscriptions, mid-term amendments, and open billing schedules.

• Plan and conduct comprehensive quote-to-cash user acceptance testing (UAT) through to invoicing, payment processing, and revenue scheduling.

• Provide guidance to private equity sponsors and portfolio leadership on standardizing finance stacks.

• Enhance TechTorch's ZoneBilling and NetSuite capabilities through partner enablement, reusable accelerators, and mentorship.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in ERP or finance systems.

• At least 5 years in a role as a NetSuite architect or solutions lead.

• Expertise in Zone&Co ZoneBilling is essential.

• Proven experience in delivering subscription, usage-based, and project-based billing frameworks.

• Practical experience with Zone's packaged Salesforce integration for Salesforce CPQ, Sales Cloud, and Revenue Cloud.

• Strong functional knowledge of NetSuite, including items, customers, subsidiaries, as well as OneWorld multi-entity, multi-currency, tax, and accounts receivable.

• Experience configuring NetSuite revenue recognition, including Advanced Revenue Management.

• Familiarity with ASC 606 / IFRS 15, deferred revenue, usage metering, and true-up processes.

• In-depth understanding of Salesforce CPQ and/or Revenue Cloud, such as amendments, renewals, co-terming, ramps, and usage-priced offerings.

• Demonstrated expertise in designing Salesforce-to-NetSuite integrations using Workato or Celigo.

• Knowledge of SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and NetSuite APIs, including SuiteTalk SOAP / REST.

• Experience in designing usage data pipelines from source systems to billing.

• Proven track record in leading the migration of ongoing contracts, mid-term amendments, and open billing schedules.

• Experience in designing and executing end-to-end quote-to-cash UAT with finance users.

• Demonstrated capability in employing AI-native delivery methodologies, including LLM-assisted solution design, rapid prototyping, prompt engineering, AI-assisted documentation, and AI-supported configuration and code generation.

• Proficient in vibe coding and conversational development workflows.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, especially with finance leadership.

• Established leadership skills in cross-functional teams, including mentoring and coaching experience.

• Preferred qualifications include NetSuite ERP Consultant and/or SuiteFoundation certification.

• Zone & Co partner certification or completion of a bootcamp is preferred.

• Certification in Workato or Celigo is a plus.

• Salesforce CPQ Specialist or Revenue Cloud Consultant certification is advantageous.

• An accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or CIMA, or a background in finance operations, is a plus.
