Lead Integrations Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the integration architecture across C&W's data and application landscape.

• Establish and oversee integration patterns, including API, point-to-point, hub-and-spoke, ESB, iPaaS, event-driven, and bi-directional synchronization.

• Design comprehensive integrations that span custom, SaaS, and PaaS systems.

• Define data contracts, error management, observability, security, and scaling requirements.

• Develop intricate, high-risk integrations and validate their readiness for production.

• Create reference architectures and reusable components.

• Lead the architecture for strategic programs, managing design, sequencing, and trade-offs.

• Mentor engineers through design and code evaluations.

• Guide the transition from legacy point-to-point and ESB systems to modern integration patterns.

• Identify security, reliability, and data integrity risks and facilitate their resolution through governance forums.

• Provide advice to engineering, data, AI, product, and business stakeholders.

• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, and Architecture teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in designing and constructing data integrations at scale across custom, SaaS, and PaaS platforms.

• Proficient hands-on experience with various integration patterns, as well as .NET and C#.

• Practical knowledge of iPaaS, event-driven architecture, and bi-directional synchronization.

• Proven ability to lead through influence and establish technical standards in a complex enterprise environment.

• Solid understanding of integration security, identity management, observability, and data governance within regulated global frameworks.

• Experience in phasing out legacy ESB or point-to-point systems.

• Familiarity with API management, message brokers, and streaming platforms.

• Experience working in a global data organization across different time zones.
