Senior .NET/C# Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and sustain scalable software applications.

• Ensure adherence to high-quality standards and optimal performance.

• Engage in code review processes.

• Diagnose and resolve production issues.

• Improve existing software solutions.

• Establish the engineering foundations of the platform, including automated pipelines, testing, and observability.

• Collaborate during planning sessions.

• Estimate the duration of tasks.

• Communicate potential challenges effectively.

• Promote continuous improvement through team collaboration, innovation, and proactive problem-solving.

• Maintain and integrate essential systems from recent acquisitions with other software solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Software Development or a related discipline.

• Minimum of four years of experience with .NET/C#.

• Hands-on experience in building, versioning, and integrating APIs.

• Strong relational database skills.

• Proficient in reading and writing SQL within a production environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Experience with operating or migrating production workloads on Microsoft Azure is advantageous.

• Familiarity with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code is beneficial.

• Background in billing or payment integrations is a plus.

• Experience with acquired or legacy codebases during modernization is an advantage.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes on Azure (AKS), Rust, NixOS, or the Exim mail server is a plus.
