Senior .NET Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance software applications utilizing C# and the .NET framework.

• Collaborate with product owners, developers, QA, and stakeholders to implement new features, enhancements, and fix bugs.

• Develop and manage C#-based web services and APIs.

• Write efficient, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code following development standards and best practices.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and issues in production.

• Participate in application deployments, releases, and ongoing production support activities.

• Design and optimize SQL Server database objects, queries, and stored procedures.

• Enhance application architecture, performance, reliability, and maintainability.

• Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to team members.

• Engage in technical discussions and drive solutions from requirements through to implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software development using C# and .NET.

• Proficient in developing and maintaining web services and APIs.

• Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server.

• Familiarity with DevExpress or similar enterprise UI frameworks.

• Experience in supporting production applications, troubleshooting issues, and implementing enhancements.

• Knowledge of software deployment and release processes.

• Solid understanding of software design principles, object-oriented programming, and application architecture.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fully remote setting.

• Must reside in and be authorized to work in Costa Rica.

• Experience with WinForms desktop application development, installer technologies, legacy .NET modernization, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, or regulated/enterprise software environments is a plus.
